Woodland House
A family home set in a rural setting, designed with modular forms and constructed using low-carbon materials.

A speculative rural home conceived as a family of sculptural volumes, where building and landscape are deeply intertwined. Rammed earth elements anchor each volume, providing thermal mass and utility, whilst a prefabricated timber frame insulated with hemp fibre and rendered in locally sourced hemp and gravel settles quietly into its surroundings. Wildflower green roofs crown the composition with a ground source heat pump meeting all energy needs.
