The Rye

The Rye is a collection of ten handcrafted apartments where architecture, craft and sustainability are inseparable. Designed, built and developed entirely in-house, every decision reflects an uncompromising commitment to material quality and considered living. Two sculptural buildings are united through shared rooflines and a concrete plinth, creating a quiet sense of community on a prominent corner site. Inside, delicate bespoke joinery, red quarry tiles and 10,000 handmade clay shingles sourced from the Petersen Tegl factory in Denmark speak to a depth of craft rarely found in contemporary residential development.
